So I was talking to a couple friends and they were talking about growing pains and how it kept them up all night. I couldn't really say anything cause I don't think I've ever had them. To the people who have what do they feel like or what happens? does everyone get them? Does growing pains foreshadow a growth spurt? I think the closest I've had to growing pains was that my lower back sometimes hurts at night but idk if that's relevant..

Im 18 at 6'2/6'3 and have been growing for years and growing pains suck buts its bearable. It hurts to walk while your bones are growing and feels like a piercing pain but not that bad.

Some guys have quick spurts that may last a few months or so then slow down, others grow slower. I've grew 8 inches between freshman year and senior year, and I've grown about an inch in the last year. One of my friends grew like 6" in a year though, some people just grow a lot really fast. Others like me and probably you grow at a slower, more steady rate. That's most likely the reason you haven't had any growing pains. Its nothing to worry about, you'll keep growing a bit until you around 21 or even later, you'll probably gain a few more inches.
