Hey, I don't know if this has ever been posted before, but I really think I have no sexuality.
I have never been attracted to anyone. Never. My friends throughout middle school and high school would always be talking about who likes whom, but I could never join in. Because I never liked anyone.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is like this.

That is asexuality. I'm not one of them, but there are many here in VT.

Hey Abigail,
That is indeed relatively common. I myself am not asexual, but one of my closest friends is (or she think she is). I will mention that since sexuality refers to sexual attraction to people, idk if you'd consider yourself asexual (you don't have feelings of lust or sexual attraction), or aromantic (not really loving anyone). It's possible to be both, which plenty of people are.

I myself am not however I would like to see how asexual* people change their thoughts (or more feelings) about their sexuality throughout the course of their life. Exampli Grottica: I'm straight. I've always been straight. I BELIEVE I'll always be straight but who knows?
*I believe asexual is a term that means a creature that reproduces by itself (like a mollusk or bacteria)

depends. Do you feel generic sexual desire? Do you masturbate? If not, i think you could consider yourself asexual.

It is possible to have little to no sexual desire but have romantic desires. Me personally I haven't any desires much. Yes I can get aroused but the idea of sex and me is a little uncomfortable, and even though I at times am curious about it, I would rather wait a very long time and focus on love. You could be aromantic meaning you usually don't feel romantic attraction either. Sometimes I am like that, I have not been attracted to anyone at all in the past few years, maybe by body, but I want more than that. You could be asexual, nothing wrong with it.

To be asexual is it complete absense of anything sexual including urges and hormonal shifts?

Well being asexual is more just not experiencing sexual attraction, but while some don't experience any sort of urges and have no libido there are others who still do, yet think it is more appropriately taken care of alone.
