Well salvia offincialis ir used in medicine and its just a normal medicine plant.

Salvia divinorum is a psychoactive plant. Onset is generally a few minutes and while smoking it, you will feel the effects for about 10 to 20 minutes.

It causes very vivid visuals open and closed eye visuals. Honestly, the experience is often rather unpleasant and it is definitively NOT the kind of drug you should take with levity. Often, you will fly through unknown, terrorizing "alternate" dimensions and you will not be able to tell it isn't real - you might even forget smoking Salvia entirely. A common occurence is meeting "mother Salvia" and the encounter is not always fun. If you decide to, by all means, have a sitter with you, put calm, relaxing and inoffensive music, be mentally stable and try to enjoy the ride.

It being more or less powerful than LSD is a matter of defining "powerful". It does not last (nearly) as long and it doesn't carry with it euphoria, but the visuals are unlike anything else at a good dose - I think the closest equivalent might be DMT. By the way, anybody who told you it's like weed is a jackass. It is NOTHING like cannabis.

salvia is so gross, it's pretty pointless too.
it only lasts around 10/15 mins it's horrible.

Don't do Salvia!!
It's really bad!! I know people who have done it and they are really messed up now. If you wanna do drugs and stay safe as you can be, then just do cannabis. That is the safest one out there and I would say the funnest. But seriously don't do salvia!!
