I can't see the problem with being shirtless as guys are usually shirtless at the beach and at the swimming pool. If it is fine in a public place why would it not be fine in your bedroom?

Now, if you wanted to get naked then perhaps that is time to check your roommate is comfortable with it. If he is then even that would be fine.

Most guys don't mind being shirtless with each other if their sleeping, hanging around the house, working out, or swimming. So I agree ... just start doing it. He'll probably join you. It's always more comfortable to sleep in the lease amount of clothes possible. Just to be safe ... stick to keeping the shorts on. :D

Well I personally think that if you are living with him you will probably see each other naked at some point so you just have to brave up and go for it, if it was me, I sleep naked, I would just say to him, "mate I sleep naked are you okay with that, we will probably see each other naked at some point anyway, may as well get used to it" and then I would drop my boxers

I've slept in spoon with mates once or twice, sometimes wearing only underwear. It's not that weird. Once, we were sleeping three boys in a queen-size bed, and one of my friends were filling up the whole half of the bed. So I asked the other if we should spoon, to which he agreed :) That being said, we do have very "open" personalities! ;)
