Dizziness

When I stand up sometimes, I get really dizzy, and on several occasions I have actually fallen down. I know it isn't from standing up too quickly, so what could it be? Any ideas?

Maybe heat or a overstimulated brain

Sounds maybe like an inner ear thing.
Or could be something else like low blood sugar.
You should get it checked out.

Low blood sugar levels or low blood pressure. Any of us can get the dizziness if we stand up too quickly, but if you are getting it a lot then it might be best to check it out.

I get the same thing ALL the time. It happens so much I had to go see a neurologist. They said it is common in teens. So now I have to see a cardiologist. I would recommend just going to cardiologist if you go to a specialist because it took two years of tests for them to decide I needed to see a cardiologist. Also, do you get "tunnel visions" when you get dizzy? My doctors call them tunnel visions because my vision blacks out except for a small fuzzy area in the center that I can see. I completely black out though when I fall. It doesn't have to do with standing up too fast though. Good luck!
