i have a fetish not an entirely sexual fetish the fetish is i like to wear diapers and use them for every thing i love the way they feel they take all my troubles away i want to wear them all the time and be fed and treated like a baby and get changed by my parents and select others but im afraid of what they would think should i tell my parents. what should i do?

Everyone has fetishes for different things, but they are usually personal, and not something you'd share with your parents. In this case, I really don't think you should let them know about this one, as it probably wouldn't go down very well. Perhaps when you're older and you are in a serious relationship you can indulge in this fetish, but seriously, this is just not something you tell your parents. They've already dealt with you in infant form once, I don't think they'd care to do it again, esp. as you're older and this is more than just a necessary thing.

Kate, everyone most assuredly does not have a fetish about something! A fetish is something that's considered a psychological condition.

A fetish is defined as the needed presence of something, usually non sexual, for ANY type of sexual arousal and functioning to occur. That's different than a sexual turn on, which enhances natural arousal. It's OK to indulge something that enhances pleasure, but I wouldn't encourage someone to engage in the activity that is required for sexual functioning, they need psychological help!

Most teenagers don't have fetishes, just preferences, even if they're diapers. It can develop into a fetish if the underlying preference becomes so strong that later in life arousal cannot occur without it.
