When i send a visitor message to a certain person, the post is submitted with the line at the top reading this message is moderated. However, the VM soon dissapears and is no longer visible. The posts don't contain anY explicit or censorship worthy content. I have tried sending VMs to other people and they are working. Are the VMs being deleted by a mod or is this a bug?

Wonder.

They're just being moderated. They won't show up until a mod approves them. It shouldn't take too long, a day at the most.

You can always PM a staff member and ask what happened.

I've had one or two VM's deleted.
But I knew why.
If you want to know just ask a mod.

Yeah, that's happened to me before. When they disappeared, I thought it was the person who's profile I was posting them on who deleted them. I soon realized that it was the staff, but staff are supposed to PM the member and explain exactly why that VM was deleted every time. Why they only do it sometimes is beyond me...But yeah, just ask a mod. If they don't know, then nobody does.

Because there are literally hundreds of VMs sent daily that need to be approved and too many of them are not appropriate, and there's not enough time to send every single person a VM. As mentioned, if you weren't PMed as to why, you can assume the offense was minor (but shouldn't be done again, because you will probably then be PMed) but if you're really wondering, just PM and ask.

Oh yeah, didn't think about that...I'm kinda stupid sometimes. Well, I guess that's why...I'll remember that.
