Ok recently I have found that what I have been tought all my life and what everybody I know thought is apparently false. I always was told it was male or female, from my first days at school untill today. But apparently theres hundreds of genders however this gives me a headache and makes me confused. Firstly let me say I am completely straight and camp should that matter.

I think people are getting sexuality and sex confused, I am straight and a man, gay men are homosexual and a man, an asexual man is asexual and a man. Do you see what I mean? I think sex/gender is what is between youe legs and sexuality is who your attracted to, opinions?

This has nothing to do with gay rights, gay equality or political parties

Sigh, I don't even know what this is.

Are you denying that people are Bisexual?
Are you denying that people are transgender?

Because they're are people on this forum who are transgender and it would be extremely offensive to take such a bigoted view on a rather diverse teen fourm. But god help if your confused about other people's gender? Who the fucks cares man? Why does it effect your live who people bang and what gender they want to be.

This is another worrying example of how your descending into some sort of trans-phobic bigot who fails to understand the bigger picture.

And yes this is related to gay rights and gay equality, this is why people march every year to show that they're proud of their gender and that people like you who hold such narrowed minded views shouldn't be accepted as the norm.

I also don't understand how you only just found out about transgender-heck there's even a character in Coronations street who is transgender.

Let people live there life, don't act like a guy wanting to sleep with both guys and girls is wrong and somehow going to damage your little world.

makes me confused

Your failure to understand a simple matter doesn't justify calling every transgender/bisexual person confused. Why the fuck does it matter what people do in their own lives?

You have misunderstood the point of the thread.

Let's not turn this into personal attacks, please. Debate the issue, not the person.

There are many sexual labels like Lesbians, Homosexual ect. As far as I know in humans there is only male and female. you can change your sex from male to female or female to male. there are people in transition. I'm not sure if lady boys or Hermaphrodite are actually considered a sex like male or female.

Well that's above ironic isn't it, maybe I should remind you what you said to me last week

I don't know what to blame for that attitude, the fact your gay or maybe your patents, most likely woulf be the fact that it's true what they say about the working class, care for no one and no self respect..

Ok, 'I've failed to understand you point' please tell me how there is any debate in this thread? Are you actually going to raise an argument or is this just a rant about people having different labels for there gender and sexuality.

Maybe if you actually communicated the ideas then people would be able to understand it much easier, because this isn't the first time people have had trouble understanding what you mean.

So what's wrong with people having different labels?

How the does it affect your life?

Harry, not one time in this thread has he attacked you personally. He had not quoted you, nor called your name.

Guidelines for ROTW. (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/announcement.php?f=29&a=265) Just as a reminder.

Cut it out. Leave your personal attacks at the door, please.

Once again - debate the issues, and not the people bringing them.

Yes. The way I see it. You are either a male or a female. Whether you choose to identify with your biological make up or not is your business.

Biologically, there's male, female, and intersex. After that if people identify differently from their biological sex (i.e. their gender) or change their sex entirely they'd no longer be the common "male" or "female." Gender and sex aren't black and white and shouldn't really be labeled as such.

Sex and gender are also separate things. You've got three categories there: sexuality, sex, and gender. A biological male could be a woman attracted to other women. Gender dysphoria, when one's gender doesn't match their sex as in the example I just gave, is where transsexuality or being transgender comes in. There are also those who identify as both genders, neither gender, etc.

Even biological sex isn't binary, because you also have various intersex conditions. These are all spectrums that make up who a person is. You could also include other categories such as sexual attraction, romantic attraction, and romantic behavior.

The way I see it, being female does not necessarily mean being a woman and being male does not necessarily mean being a man, which is why I try to use gender neutral pronouns.

As far as I'm concerned, your male or female, sexuality is different, sure theres gay and asexual people, but they still have their sex organs.

I'm glad that's as far as you're concerned. Unfortunately, people (just read the thread), science (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersex), and modern thinking (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXAoG8vAyzI) don't agree with you.

And since you have nothing to even try and support your claim, why even bother debating?

It's not I don't except it more I thought gender and sex was what is between your legs with sexuality being separate, if it's not it's ok, I don't need to know all the terms for life anyway, thankfully 'cos there's billions (ok slight overreaction:P)

Please close the thread from what you tell me it's fact, facts aren't debatable.
