Demolition Derby?

So how 'bout it? A lot of people have been to one, but has anyone here every actually driven a derby car/truck/van/mini or what ever? Lets here a story :)

I'll start. I just derbyed my first truck this summer. A 1973 F-250 4x4 with a 360 V8. I bought the truck from an old farmer for $100 and beefed it up a little. If it wasn't in such bad shape I would have kept and restored it. But instead I ended up winning the derby because all the other trucks either had mechanical problems or shitty drivers, so I stomped them. I had a blast building it with my friend, who built an 86 F-150 at the same time, that had a weak rear end it turned out. ( My 3rd hit snapped his axel ;) )

The drivers side one did, I think the other one was blown.
