I noticed from the religion poll that there are a few Wiccans here. I've experimented with being Wiccan before but I was basically clueless about the religion and reverted mainly to Buddhism. I've become interested in it again and have a few questions quick for Wiccans:
1) What drew you to Wicca?
2) Do you believe in the god and goddess or do you view them as a sort of metaphor?
3) Do you perform rituals or are you just Wiccan by principles and beliefs?

I don't see myself as wiccan, just actively allowed to experience it.
1) Over 7 years ago, I never saw anyone before taking magic/nature symbolism/fantasy-looking stuff seriously before, so I was interested in this.
2) Atheist, they are symbolic and not real by themselves.
3) Rituals yes

Wicca is a modern pagan religion which is similar to witchcraft (but not the same). It has a very strong emphasis on nature and non-violence/peace.
There's an introductory article here http://wicca.com/celtic/wicca/wicca.htm

I actually believe that some "magic/nature symbolism/fantasy-looking stuff" may actually physically exist in other realms, consciousness may tap into these other realms when imagining things or these things may be created for conscious beings to explore after imagined. How's that for a thought? Existence to me should be infinite, many things that can be imagined may be (somewhere).
And I would love to hear more responses to the OP too.

That is along what I think of, yes. Nothing is absolute, everything is relative; just like how nothing is true and everything is permitted.

1) What drew you to Wicca? The openness and acceptance. There are so many ways to practice and real wiccans shouldn't judge you for it. Duotheists, polythiests, pantheists, atheists. In covens and solitary. What I find so sickening about Christianity is this one-size fits all (or multiple sizes, for the denominations) for something so personal and individual as religion. Wicca is free. An it harm none, do what ye will. You can worship any gods and goddesses you want from any pantheon in any way you choose. You don't need magic words, you can write them yourself or just speak directly to them. While the latter isn't as pretty, it's the most powerful and that's how it should be. I also think nature is first on my top three things that can actually be spiritual, before art and love, so incorporation of nature in religion is like a no-brainer to me.
What keeps me here is the intense self-discovery.
2) Do you believe in the god and goddess or do you view them as a sort of metaphor? See, I blend Wicca with LaVeyan Satanism and that's part of it. Satan is a metaphor for self and the God and Goddess are metaphors for the two extreme energies. I'm an atheist. They're a metaphor, but they are very real; I believe in them, but they are representations of two pure energies that exist in each of us and are reminders of that. Yin and Yang. I associate with a metaphoric sort of pantheism in that. I sometimes get really focused on the God or the Goddess energy (usually yin and the Goddess, but not because I am female, I'm a Taurus. Look up yin) and I forget that I am both equally, which is when I need that reminder. The Morrigan is even more personal though. It's hard for me to say she's a metaphor but she is. She's a facet of my personality at this point.
3) Do you perform rituals or are you just Wiccan by principles and beliefs? Yes, I perform rituals.
