Wii-U is dieing.

Wii-U is dieing. Its sales aren't that great. Its becoming a dieing console. Its sad for people like me because there isn't an alternative. Ps4 is higher and has lots of games that wont appeal to me. Xbox one is out of the Question because of the experience I had with the OG xbox and 360.
I Blame Nintendo but I also Blame consumers for their failure. How do you feel about this situation?

Personally I think super Mario 3d land could save it but not alone. I think with out a solid title wii u is out of the 8th gen

They haven't made any noteworthy games outside of their standby franchise, a.k.a Mario. Honestly, they could have made something big out the console, but the console simply didn't have the hardware to handle the more serious games, with majority of their games targeted towards casual family friendly games, and when they did make a game, the controls were normally broken on it.

In a simplified version, they goofed up on something that could have been good.

Agree. Which is sad really because I remember the good old days of Nintendo with the GBA and DS. Those were goood consoles. Also video games of Nintendo r degrading in general to family-based games.

That may be for casual games but do we really need more FPS? if were talking non family friendly then FPS is dominating that market

If it doesn't have sex blood and gore isent a shooter or has an ass load of fucking language (see what I did there?:D) then its a family based game. But I also think WII U library needs to be better

Srry but the Wii-U had a shit starting lineup and is just now getting a bit better!!
It will be the only console of the next Generation i might MIGHT buy because atleast it something new!! But it lacks in power and good dedicated third Party developers!! (After what happened to Ubisoft i think there won't be that many BIG third Party Developers for the Wii-U)
I really like Nintendo but they fucked up their maketing... hell half of the People didn't even kno it wasn't a handheld .-. And yes most People i know who got it didn't use it all that much and MANY People didn't even buy it!
And to the Batman Thing.... i don't hate Batman.... he is just waaay more boring than a few other fictional characters i like try not to be too angry about it ok?? :)

Well you shouldn't get mad because People have different opinions than u cuz then u will be mad A LOT!!
Also i never said Batman was boring but Batman is more boring than other characters ^-^
AAAnnndddddd the Wii-U has not enough power tbh that is why i don't want it to do tooo well like it still should do well but it shouldn't do well enough to hold PC back!! And with less power u can do less things sooo thats why developers don't like it as much!! Well and we saw that third Party games generally don't do well at Nintendo consoles (like Ubisoft who comitted hard to Wii-U and lost A LOT of Money!!) because most People that buy Nintendo consoles are die hard Nintendo fans that get Nintendo games...

lol I buy Nintendo consoles. Before wii I was die hard Sony fan. Ps1 PS2 but PS3 changed that for me. I liked wii more. NEVER liked Xbox. Always had Issues with Xbox consoles

Nintendo is far from dead. They just haven't finished super smash brothers 4 yet. As soon as it comes out Sony and Microsoft will come crawling back. They are putting out great games but you have to actually play them instead of automatically saying it sucks. Super Mario 3d world hasn't gotten a rating below a 9 on any review. Clearly they are doing something right.

Every single that Nintendo produces is a good game. They wouldn't release it if they didn't think it would sell. The Wii-U could win the console wars but the slobbering mass of "Mature" gamers don't even bother diverting their small attention spans to something that isn't rated M. It is also partly the fault of the media. You only ever see commercials about Call Of Duty or some other shooter games. The media brainwashes the mindless masses into thinking you're only a gamer if you play these types of games.

Nintendo has survived through the first console generations and WILL survive this, keep in mind that the Gamecube had very similar sale numbers, but it did good, Nintendo just needs to push game production a little more, maybe start an online network and they will get going.

The WiiU us an amazing console with lots of potential. It just needs some good software! Super Mario 3D World was a step in the right direction, but there's still work to be done.
