I think the age for maturity is getting higher, when it needs to be getting lower. Now the average age for maturity is 23-27. You have some people that consider teens as kids, and thos who see us as the future. That means that we need to grow up faster, learn at a faster pace, quickly find out who we are deep down. That's alot of hard work, discovering our tru selves without even experiencing enough different personalities. Therefore, we can compare/contrast ourselves, notice how we stand out from the others. We haven't gained much information on our own personalities.

Then there are the people who think were just kids. We should know better, but we still don't know anything. It's like they just want us to live for right now, then figure everything out when were all grown up. They don't think we should have a say in our life, parents knows best.

On alot of movies, tv shows, music videos, etc we see alot of people in their 20s expressing their youth. This leads us toward a new era, the mature age is becoming higher rather than shorter. People feel the need to "live while their young" (not calling out 1D)but yet fail to realize, they have to mature now.

Your thoughts on this matter?

Legal age is an average value when it is expected for a person to be mature enough to be an adult, but at what age that happens is different for everyone.

I think you are a teenager from 13 to 19 years old, a child from 12 under and an adult from 20 on (using the 'teen'ager wording). I am not legally an adult, but I'm still a teenager for 2 more years.

I could say much more, but not much motivation to do so.
