Anyone know what I'm talking about?!

Has anyone out there found that they fancied someone, but pretended like they didn't?


Only I'm gay, and am really in to this other guy ( he is also gay) and he invites me round his loads for sleepovers and stuff and always wants to spend time with me ( he knows I'm gay and that I like him..)

However, all the time he only ever talks about different guys that he likes, like, a new guy every week, and is always mean to me around his friends..


Is it his way of telling me he's not interested, or is he hiding something, do you think??

Yes, I've done that. For the longest time I didn't tell this girl that I liked her and we went on as normal friends. I then told her so she does know, but since it's so long distance we haven't done anything with it but we still act like close friends.

Everyone has way different motivations though so sometimes it's difficult to tell what he really means, whether he's hiding something or whether he's trying to tell you he's not interested. Maybe you can pull him aside in private and let him know you're confused about some of his actions such as always inviting you for sleepovers but then being mean to you around his friends, and ask him what he means by it. That way, you know for sure!

Talk to him about it. If he's mean to you around his friends, then he doesn't seem to be really your friend, or at least he doesn't give you the importance you probably deserve.

Perhaps he just wants you to be around becuse you're a good person, someone he can trust in, but make sure he respects you.
