Ok, I've been reading online, and it seems like there is a split decision on the question of whether or not guys should "groom" their pubes (i.e. shave/trim). So, I thought I'd ask people closer to my age the same question. Should I, or should I not trim my pubes?

I shaved them once, and I can tell you this: the smoothness is a unique thing, but you'll regret shaving bare. It itches horribly while growing back. take my word for it, trimming short is alright, but never shorter than 1/8 inch unless you want to itch.

I trim and shave them, although some discomfort follows after shaving it's well worth it!

It's totally up to you, you can give it a try if you want. I just leave mine.

I just shaved and it feels different, but neat at the same time. Are there any advantages to shaving that any of y'all have experienced?

I totally shave my pubes, feels and looks way better. I found that if I shave every other day, then it doesn't itch as much and doesn't hurt when it grows back like it does when you leave it for awhile. And being totally shaved is a lot easier to clean up when you cum.

I personally don't shave my pubes, I think it's kind of hot when guy are all natural. But if that's what you want then go for it!

I don't think you should feel like you need to shave them. It is not like they are on show at some posh social function.

On the other hand if you want to then that's up to you.

What he said. It's totally up to you. It doesn't matter how many people like it shaved or natural or whatever. Experiment a little and see what you like best.

Ok, so I shaved them for the first time, and now, 2 days later, they itch like crazy! Oh well, it was a neat experience and now I think I'll let them grow back out. Thanks for all of your advice, it is greatly appreciated!

nope, I'm totally cool with being shaved, and my ex when we we're together really liked it to.

I think you should just to see what you feel about it personally and then when you are used to that shave completely or just shave more than an inch away from your shaft and try different 'styles' to see what you prefer and then stick to that, don't forget shaving can be itchy at first and a bit painful but the better the razor and then more you do it then the less you will notice it

Thanks for all of the responses guys. I appreciate it.

Oh, and now that my stubble is beginning to grow back, the irritation and itchiness is going away and it is so much more comfortable.

I think having no hair totally makes you look like a kid. I have a trimmer I got for my face and I use it to trim down my pubes to like maybe 1/2" long, and that looks nice.
