Normally when I go to the bathroom with another girl it's just to have company, as weird as it may seem. If I'm in school or something I could care less if someone else goes with me but I don't like going to bathrooms of places I'm not used to alone, so they make it a bit less nerve racking.

Can also help to have someone hold your stuff while you go, and then you hold theirs.

But others may have different reasons.

When I was in school, my friends and I walked everywhere together, especially at lunch. It was just something we did. Generally I think girls feel more at ease when they've got a friend next to them, especially in room full of other girls.
