There is a girl in one of my classes that has a really nice fleshy butt and thick legs. She's physically very attractive to me because of this and has led me wondering why males find the female buttocks so attractive. Is it normal to be very attracted to this?

I've heard it's because of evolution; men evolved to like woman who appear the most reproductive, and this would be the women that are most developed sexually, whether it be breasts, hips or bottom.

This. We've been hardwired to prefer mates who look like they could bear children well, and have enough food for the harder times (ie winter). So wide hips, and thick legs/ass are naturally attractive to us.
