Although I have experienced what you are describing, I'm not quite sure. I know something goes on related to hormones....I call it that

Mood swings are due to hormone levels being unstable due to us teens having it be newly introduced into our body by our genes. Not a period. I know what you mean, my moods can go from good to bad and vice-versa in 30 seconds. Negative emotions/feelings are okay, as long as they are temporary and not controlling you.
Hope this helps.

Well, I guess. Mood swings happen in both, dudes and chicks, whether it's period related or not. It's just our hormones and shit doing stuff in our brains

We are all at the age where your hormones are raging. That's all it is.

Not sure. Some guys including me do have hormone spikes, oddly yes despite the fact that I love chocolate sometimes I really crave it. No of course guys never have periods but we do get moody and hormonal.

A guy period in what you are describing is simply hormones. They are normal and EVERYONE gets them during puberty, including girls! :)

Ya, me too. Puberty isn't always easy; usually it's extremely hard.

I would say there is definitely a variation in mood and horniness over time but:
1. I have never kept a diary to check if it is a regular cycle and if so how long it is.
2. The differences are less than in girls.
3. I am not certain the cause is intrinsic, i.e. hormone levels changing with no external influence, but maybe extrinsic, e.g. being influences by pheromones from a girl or women you are often close to.

On this last point it is normal in animals where there is a definite breading season for the males get get really horny just when the females are ready for them and pheromones are the way that works. There is no reason to suppose the same would not be true in humans with guys being horninest when a girl they are often physically close to is about to ovulate. As such that would tie the guy in to the girl's cycle. What is different for humans is all year round fertility which means a guy may be influences by several girls whose cycles are not in sync with each other. That would make the whole effect harder to see for what is is.

Well yes it has been investigated and men do get fluctuations in hormones during a day, so their 'cycle' is only 24 hours but yes that is why your emotions change so much

Males and period? Not really.
Certainly it's just due to hormones.
There are so many hormones in the human body doing a great piece of work...

This is not a period, but instead just hormones acting up and creating mood swings. This is completely normal and it happens to all of us

periods - no as this is a specific thing that girls go through. Moody. Yes teenage boys can be very moody!

im pretty sure we get periods. omg I know I do like alllll the time. theres like one week of every month when I just flip my shit at the smallest thing. for example, someone will be breathing and i'll be close to throwing a chair at them.

In a way, they do. Scientists have determined that males have a 33 day cycle with fluctuating levels of hormones, which could explain your mood swings.

I know some guys who are like this all the time, haha. but yeah I think it's just the age.

I don't think so, it's probably just mood swings

Everyone has hormones, and we all go through ups and downs. Probably not as regular as a girl's period but it happens.

It's part of growing up, having mood swings and stuff

I think it just goes hand in hand with being a teenager

That just sounds like normal mood swings for teenage guys with raging hormones.

Yeah, this is just related to the hormone changes in your body during puberty. Mood swings are frequent and common among guys and girls. There's no real cycle guys go through monthly that I'm aware of.
