there are websites that make things that record your ip address and people can make one of these links and eather hack your computer or find where you live its that easy so next time you see a page with a sketchy link think twice before clicking it

Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis. Every website you go to has some sort of record of your IP address. VT does, Facebook does, Tumblr does, whatever. It's all somewhere.
This isn't exactly a security breach, however, as an IP address, at best, only gives you a rough outline of the city or town a person's living in.

My current ip address will tell you I live in San Fransisco. But in a few hours, it may tell you I live in Fresno.
Both cities are at least an hour's drive from where I truly live.
IP addresses can maybe tell the website operator what ISP you use, and sometimes(but not always) in what city you live. However, if you have enabled geo location n your browser, that may change.

My IP address will tell me I am in a completely different state and even sometimes on the other side of Australia (happened a few times)

My IP address will be recorded by all the website I visit, one thing I do know is that if I was to locate it, it wouldn't be the town i'm in. It would be the biggest nearest city. No clue why.....

You could never find me based off just my IP address unless you were FBI or something.

I find it more sad seeing ads that are exactly like a nostalgic game and they say "NEWEST GAME OF THE YEAR 10/10" Now, that's what I dislike.

Once I clicked on one of my friends links and it turns out a hacker sent that and then I got hacked too! Lucky I got out of it though!
