Yo so I know I only drop in here once in a blue moon nowadays because I'm not having as many problems as I used to but I need your help with this.
I go to the LGBT club in school and it's really helping me and it's great. They guy in charge, Danny, he's transgender, and I identify as transgender too, but I'm in the closet. I want to talk to him, like man to man, but I don't know how to bring it up. He runs the sessions and he's really nice and I know he won't just shrug me off but I don't know how to approach him on this topic. Anyone?
Wonder.

I'm not transgender, but one time one of my friends asked if I would talk to someone about LGBT things and then a transgender female messaged me on Facebook. You could do it that way.
Or, just go up to him and ask if you can talk. Ask him a general question and start a conversation. Pretty much everyone in the queer community is very willing to talk about any sort of LGBT topic, you just have to ask. There really is no need to worry about starting conversation. It may be easier to talk if it's online instead of face to face. Some people think that's cowardly, but I think it's just doing things in a much easier fashion.

Maybe you can approach Danny and ask him if you can speak with him after the meeting, or arrange a time when the two of you can speak if right after the meeting isn't good for him. I know that it's scary, but I think that the best way to get the answers and support you are looking for, would be to be outright and just ask him if he would like to tak. I think that since he is pretty nice, he'll be more than willing to answer you, just ask him if you can talk to him first.
But, you can also write him a note or message him online like Tyler said, if you think that would be easier. That way, everything is gotten out without any nerves or interruptions getting in the way, but you can still get the answers you are looking for.
Best of luck!
