Because you only measure base to tip. Pushing it in makes it an inaccurate measurement. That's what it says in the stickies "All penis size questions here" you should go look at that page

this is my idea # 2

you will need:
ruler
camera
computer with editing software
a penis
--------------------------------
take your ruler put in your penis measure it then take your camera take a picture of it.
now do it for the next 10-15 yrs then you make your own slide show at movie maker then you laugh at how your penis is small back then.

You can set up a little spread sheet or a bar graph and have it look cute. At some stars, and flowers and such to it. And messier every once and a while and make the bars different colors. Once you have a rainbow penis chart you will know if you have grown or not... AND it will look cute, and you can hang it on the fridge.

It's a slow process that u won't notice cause u see it daily. Measuring once in a whiles the only way.
