Guy Friends (Mostly Guys)

Ever since I was younger I had more girls that were friends than guys but now starting my high school I tend to be friends with more guys than girls. I think its mostly cause I have my best bud as a Guy. The things is though I feel weird sometimes cause I don't know what to talk about even though were best friends. Also most times I'd rather sobs it with him than if a girl was to ask me. Do you guys do this or feel like this sometimes too?

I was in the same exact situation as you when I started high school.... Now I maintain even friendships with guys and girls.. with the bros i typically talk about girls, clothes and the occasional sports discussions

Sometimes I think its weird talking about girls all the time and sometimes we play the who's hot game but doing that all the time is weird. And when it comes to sports all I can talk about is volleyball cause its the only sport I know cause I play it have any advice?

I once read that the ""normal"" thing to happen during our childhood is that, when we're younger, we will probably have more girl friends than boy friends and as we grow, that will eventually change, and we will have more boy friends than girl friends in the end of our teenaging process. This didn't really happened to me, in fact, it happened exactly the opposite way, but I think that each of us is unique so I guess you don't need to worry too much about not having much female friends, or sometimes feeling unconfortable around your male best friend. You just need to be confident, you're not forced to get into their "guy games" and stuff.

Total opposite since I'm female, but I tend to be better friends with guys. It gets complicated with conversation sometimes as I don't exactly want to put all my personal feelings out there. And I only have 1 friend in RL who's a girl, and I couldn't trust her with much of anything. So it sucks.

I have more girl friends because ... well ... its a lot easier, at least for me. And quite a lot more relatable? I dunno.
