She's currently a friend but I'm hoping to ask her out in a couple of weeks maybe. Until then, what are some nice compliments that aren't awkward?

I've never found it awkward to tell a girl she smells nice, or has beautiful eyes, or anything like that. To me it seems like it generally makes them feel good hearing that.

These are good...and try to do it in a nonchalant way where you can keep the conversation going right after. I get weird trying to respond to compliments...I'm not good at just saying "thank you"...so if she is like that you might want to just be ready to keep talking after you compliment her.

Personally I find it really creepy when a guy tells me I smell nice. Try complimenting stuff that you honestly like about her. If you think she has pretty eyes or a nice smile, tell her.

Just be honest and tell her whatever you think looks good about her without being inappropriate of course.

Smile and eyes are nice, but kind of standard. I agree with trying to compliment her on something unique about her. It means more.

She does have amazing eyes though. When I look into her eyes I get all these mushy gushy feelings for her.

I love how she often has a little smudge of dirt on her face or her arm.

I love how she looks so good in equestrian apparel.

I love her perfectly straight teeth and smile.

SOOOOO Many things about her are amazing.

I forgot one of my favorite things about her:

Her horse riding skills.

This is your answer. Here's how things should go!

When you're going to ask her out: tell some sort of joke. Get her to laugh or do a big smile. Then say, as casually as you can: "You don't mind if I keep telling jokes, do you? Your eyes sparkle when you laugh." and then give her the smile or the wink or whatever it is that you can do to show her you're confident in what you just said.

Then side step the conversation entirely into "I'd like to be the guy that makes you smile like that all the time."

AND BOOM! You'll have a girlfriend. :yeah:

Sounds like you really like her so best of luck to you!

Edit: Also, be careful complimenting her horse riding skills. If its not said right you won't seem like your complimenting her horse riding and she'll get a mental image of you lying back onto a bed, unzipping and inviting her to "take a ride."

Which I'm sure would work on me, to be honest! :P

Think about wat u like about her. Example eyes, hair, ect.

Don't compliment her ass or something that might creep her out
