Right now I'm in a relationship with this girl at an International school in Uganda. We aren't the closest and there's problems with her mum "not approving", but we both want to be in the relationship. I leave in 7 weeks... I don't really want to keep a long distance relationship because I might not come back for at least 3 years. Should I end this relationship now, or become more attached over the next 7 weeks?

Long distance relationships get very tiresome very quickly, from personal experience don't even bother. This is especially the case if there's animosity between her relatives and the both of you due to the relationship. But you know them better than what I do, so it's your decision but I would advise against it.

Long distance relationships are hard to sustain, but you don't have to end your relationship right now. Just keep it as you've kept it during this time, and when you have to leave tell her that you'll always love her, but as you can't be together, try just to be friends from there.

You can try long distance, but realistically it will probably not work out:(
