Hi. I have a problem. a big problem. When I talk a lot of things without stop, my voice break at a moment, and my friends laugh at it (lol).

I know it's puberty, but my voice already changed when I was 13... And voice failures were common.

It's normal, right? And how to tell them it's puberty (with the boys are ok, but I don't know how to tell to girls, I feel shy)

Hi Gabriel,

You're going through a transition phase. It's completely natural and should not be a matter of concern. If your friends laugh at you because of such a petty thing, then they're being immature.

You don't need to explain anything to anybody! Don't look at this as if it's a drawback or a disadvantage. You will be done with this before you know it.

Good luck.

Now I'm 15 and it came back... understand... ?

Your voice changes because your larynx grows and the vocal folds in it get larger with it. Growth of any part of the body can speed up and slow down so there are periods of stability and periods of change.

People should not make fun of you and if strange things happen just carry on without paying it too much heed. You did mention that it happens more when you a lot of things without a break. Do you mean you say many words in one sentence before breathing? If so that may be a clue to better control - speak in sentences you can comfortably manage on one breath. If instead you men it happens when you have been talking more or less continuously for an hour of more then that's more like vocal fatigue - try to avoid such marathons.

Your voice can get lower at one point in puberty and then a couple years later change a little more. :) It's perfectly normal. Just say it's puberty and everyone goes through it!

Don't worry, you don't have to explain anything to anyone, your friends are just teasing you a bit because they're seeing you growing.
When I was also 12/13, I had my first voice cracks, and it eventually changed completely. It's not still as deep as I want it to be though, but you're young and you have a lot of years ahead, many transformations will occur and are still occuring.

Gabriel,

I understand your concern. Normally, a guy's voice will start to change somewhere between the ages of 11 to 15, although it can be earlier or later for some. It all depends on when a guy goes through puberty, some enter puberty earlier or later than others.

As you're still 15, you're not past the age of puberty yet. I don't find anything unusual with this new development in your voice. Incase you feel that this change is not normal, you can always visit a doctor.

Good luck.

But my voice already changed when I was 13, and the voice failures were common.

I know u feel self conscious but everyone is going thru the same thing.
If the guys r making fun of u just think that they r the same. When u
talk to girls they r going thru puberty too. Don't b shy just b urself. My voice
sometimes cracks and then it is normal so it is normal.

My voice cracks is happening more frequently than when I was 12/13.
