no after shave will burn ( trust me), take a warm shower and wash with soap, then maybe put on some Gold Bond Powder it will sting at first but will feel much better, vaseline is good to apply.....it most likely will itch for a few days

I've only shaved my pubes twice in my life ( once when I was 13 and another time when I was 16), I prefer trimming

Yes! I have tried shaving down there before, and it gets very itchy and uncomfortable if not handled right. If you're not having any issues then you might skip the aftershave but i would still suggest it incase it becomes uncomfortable when growing back. :)

It was uncomfortable growing back, but my friend says if you shave with the grain it helps

I would use aloe vera or cocoa butter to soothe it. Not aftershave, that shit is gonna burn...
