How can I make my stargazing date more fun/less awkward?

So my girlfriend and I have planned a big date for later today. We both like being outdoors, so we were going to go a few places today and just spend some time together.

She said that she would like to go stargazing, so I happily agreed. Thing is, I have no idea how to do a stargazing date. I've never done it before, and I don't want it to be weird. Do we just park somewhere and lay on the hood of my truck? Or what? I'm absolutely clueless on what we can do!

Another thing I should add: we've been dating for just under two months now, and we still haven't kissed. I really want this date to work, so I can work up the courage to kiss her already and get it out of the way. I can tell she's getting impatient and I really care about her, and I don't know what I'll do if I screw this opportunity up, too. Help me!

Honestly, if she's the one who suggested it, you should bring it up to her. Just ask like "Where did you want to go stargazing?" or whatever. And as far as the date goes, it sounds like it'll be pretty easy. All you have to do is I guess lay down together? Cuddle maybe? That'll probably end up with kissing. Man, that's actually a good idea for a date, if it were still warm here, I'd do that. It sounds romantic as fuck.

While she's stargazing, kiss her on the cheek. This will often prompt girls to look at you, then the you can seal the deal with a kiss on the lips. You want her to know that you're trying to kiss her otherwise it's really awkward.
