About 3 years ago I passed out 3 time all within 2 months, last week I passed out and i passed out this morning.
Before I passed out I felt short of breathe, dizzy, dry throat and sore legs.
Did I pass out from dehydration or was it something else?

Hi Tylor,

At our age, fainting can be caused by almost anything: exercise/dehydration is one, but it could also indicate diabetes, seizure disorders, respiratory issues, brain lesions, heart problems, etc...

My point is this: Only a good, thorough medical exam can determine what is causing those spells. Whatever the cause, it is ALWAYS better to make the determination ASAP. If you wait another year, it can get much worse. Usually, fainting is your body's reaction to insufficient oxygen or nutrients to your brain.

As everyone else has advised: Please see your doctor right away. If you faint while climbing a ladder, sk8ing, or with sports, you could be seriously injured.

Definitely see a doctor as soon as possible. Could be as simple as dehydration or some kind of brain problem.
