Can anyone here say they have gotten over someone they thought at one point they loved? Currently trying to get over a boy I have been crushing on for the past 4 years so I can move on with my life. Any advice from experience would be wonderful!!

Just know that there's someone out there that's right for you. Someone better. It's a great motivator.

I've had a similar experience. I've liked this girl for 3-4 years as well, and she just got together with someone recently. It's ironic that she would always say that she doesn't want a relationship. But anyway, I looked at the positive I suppose. She was happy. It was awkward and i felt butt hurt for a while, but I somehow got over it. Drugs helped. Just kidding. My laptop, games, and having fun with friends helped :P (League, Minecraft, etc)
Just, don't look at it too much. If you end up thinking about you and him, then you'll start getting hurt again, so I advise you not to think about it too much anymore.

Not sure if this really counts, but I can get over a crush really really easily. I can be completely enchanted for one day and the very next day I move on as if nothing ever happened. I'm kind of like Brock in that sense XD Doesn't happen to me as often though.
I don't think there's a trick to it or anything... Just try to avoid dwelling on it. Spending time with friends and things like that help you get it out of your head and temporarily rid you of the feeling that you're lonely, unloved, etc. When I'm feeling all down and rejected, I like watching youtube videos. I also try to focus on hobbies and such.
