That would be today, when most of the states hold their presidential primaries.

Thoughts? Opinions? or comments maybe.

Personally I would like to see Obama pull in a lot of delegates tonight.

As for the Republicans, I'm leaning towards Romney.

It being so tight for the Democrats could be problematic because McCain is leading by so much. If they lose because of a split vote we're stuck with another war monger.

Yeah, I believe Obama and Hilary were only separeated by 17,000 votes.
Very close gap.

I agree. John McCain is just terrible. He is nearly a carbon copy of Bush. I don't understand why people are voting for McCain. Bush has pitiful approval ratings yet we're going to elect someone with the same policies as him. What is wrong with people.

If we do elect another Republican, I'd be more drawn to Romney because he's not a stubborn war-hawk.

Ron Paul's the only decent Republican candidate. He's better than the Democratic candidates, actually.

I have noticed this a lot, usually when people dislike a politician it isn't exactly vicious, but what I have noticed about Clinton is when people dislike her, they hate her. You know it is a very extreme view. Either someone likes her or hates her, there is no middle ground. Like I have heard people call her Satan, its pretty interesting.

Now I am not a sexist, racist or anything like that but when it comes down to it, when people are going into their polling booth and voting it could ultimatly come down to the fact that McCain will win not because he is the best candidate but because he is the only white male candidate. Now I know that sounds terrible to say, but the reality of it is that a lot of older generations could have a problem with a woman in charge or a black man in charge.

It will be an interesting election anyway.

I agree Alex.

I figured that Edwards should have stayed in the race for that reason. At least stayed until Super Tuesday because of people like that.

I think the Republicans could have their own problems to solve as well. People who are very conservative are not really a fan of him, like Huckabee picked up the deep south states. If they don't feel he is conservative enough, he might not get their votes. It happened in Ireland recently we had a referendum to ammend our contitution in relation to abortion. The extreme liberals thought it wasn't liberal enough so they abstained which meant the conservatives won it.

It could go that way with McCain, loosing a lot of votes from that demographic.

(I say this all as an outsider looking in!)

That is exactly what I was trying to point out in my thread "Is the United States Ready?"
and the legislative branch is overrun with democrats now so it'll be hard for McCain to get any word out without them denying him and I what makes me mad is when someone says they hate a canidate no you don't hate them you hate their views and sometimes they just say just to say it you need to research all the canidates before you automaticaly hate someone

I think Bill Clinton was a good pres until a certain little incident,;) but I hate Hillary. I think she is a power freak and will make a dictator out of herself. I was disappointed when Edwards dropped out. I hope McCain or Huckabee wins the election. Anyone but friggin Hillary.
