I don't and I don't see the purpose for it, but everyone is different lol

I see people do this too! I really don't understand it either! If i had to guess i would say it acts as like a net in their suit to keep their penis from sticking out or getting suctioned to the swimsuit when you get out of the pool and the water drains from the trunks. :)

I wear underwear under my swimwear, i like it, since i feel like my swimwear gives so much room for my penis, so i just wear tight underwear so nothing moves lol.

I wear athletic trunks under mine. The netting in swim trunks are uncomfortable so I cut it out and just wear my underwear underneath. Also, it's kind of a back up in case you get rolled by a wave and you swim trunks happen to come down.

I don't get why you would wear an absorbent layer of material that you don't need. I wear speedo swimshorts that have a net liner and they're pretty secure so they don't ever feel like they're coming down.

I've seen people do it. It really doesn't make any sense to me, bathing suits have mesh on the inside so you don't need underwear.

I think it is personal preference. Me personally I prefer underwear under my trunks. Safety issue since some pants people. Plus I like the feel.

Here in australia everyone wears trunks/boardshorts.. Most of them dont have that netting so if ur sitting down everything can be seen from through the "sleeves" of the shorts hence almost everyone wears underwear underneath (you can see)

people even wear 2 pairs of swimming briefs/speedos but you still see their bulges ;)

lol honestly i do wear breifs under my shorts when im swimming cause when i wear like normal shorts to swim when i get out they lik squeeze into your legs and you can see the outline of my penis so it makes me feel more comfortable i guess

I have one pair of board shorts that are light-colored and are such thin cloth that they're REALLY clingy when they're wet. I usually wear boxerbriefs under those if I'm going to be swimming. My other board shorts are darker and not as clingy and I wear them without underwear.

I never have. In HS we wore speedos for swim team but outside of school I wore board shorts and freeballed all the time. No reason to wear underwear at all.

Yes, I do because all the guys I know do it and it's now a fashion statement. And like Gmw12 said, it acts as a barrier if your trunks fall down. Also, quite honestly I love wearing them under my trunks.
