Guys of various ages have tried and played with female clothing. There is a natural curiosity about it. If you're not sure, just let him know you'll be there for him and see if he has any questions. That main thing that he's worried that you will tell either your sister or parents, and I'm sure you won't. Don't worry if there's any questions you can't answer, just let him know that.
