Girls, does it turn you off when a guy if he tells you he likes you?

Girls, are you more likely to like a guy if he tells you he likes you?
Absolutely not. I like people for their intelligence and their personality. Just because someone claims they "like me" has no influence whatsoever.
Am I supposed to wait around and settle for someone who says that to me? I am not too fond of when people are a little too aggressive with that either. Coming on a bit too strong is a bit intimidating for some people, including me.

In a way, yes. I amended my original answer to reflect that.

Oh, right. Didn't see the answer in your original post. I had to look it over again.

It really depends on if I liked him back or not

Errrr...how else do you start a romantic relationship?Unless I totally misunderstood your question. It's bad if you've just met or have only just started hanging out but if you've known each other a while and both give off vibes when one of you takes that first step it could end really well for both parties. So it depends on the timing and feelings you harbour for the guy.Answered?:)

No, it never turns me off, it's actually somewhat of a compliment. But if I didn't want to be with them, I'd make sure it was clear and open.

The most recent time that's happened to me, yes, I panicked and avoided him but that had more to do with my own issues than with him. It's happened in the past and it's never been such a turn-off as it was in this one instance.

That's better than what most girls do I'll say that. If you don't want to go out with me than just say so. Will it hurt my feelings? yes. Will it spare us both a lot of time and drama? Hell yes.
