question about nudity

i am 13 and i have read post about who is ok with their dad seeing them naked. but my is not ok . my question is who is totally ok with their dad seeing them completely naked. i am i just dont care it doesnt bother me for my dad to see me naked . he cool so anyway.

Nudity is kind of normal around our house...MY Dad not so much thank god...kinda creepy..It happens mostly in the summer, going from the little pool cabana to the house. Mom will walk from her room to get something out of the drier or I walk from the bath to my room..but nobody really just parades around for fun...just when were doing something or getting ready to go somewere. My Dad is cool about it and never says anything.....it just happens...If I sit in the fam room watching TV without a shirt on he will say put on a shirt or throw a blanket to me...

I don't care if my mom sees me naked, or even my brothers, although I don't parade around naked in my house. If they happen to see me naked though, it's no biggie. I wouldn't be embarrassed to cover up quickly or anything.

As for my dad, I mean I'd be slightly more embarrassed because he won't even let me leave the house unless he think's I'm dressed decently enough. But he made 5 kids, I'm sure he's familiar enough with the female body that it wouldn't be awkward or anything, I just try to avoid it.

Well my real dad has never seen me naked, because I have never met him. My mom and I see each other naked often. We don't like hangout naked, but changing clothes or from the shower to the room, etc. A few of my mom's boyfriends over the years have seen me naked and vice versa but its no big deal. It wasn't sexual at all.

Agree with most people here. The first time you do it of course they're probably going to have a look and probably comment - Just like they would if you got a new haircut or something. But nobody cares really.

My fam weren't really as open as i'm guessing other's families on here. Never went to nude beaches or walked around the house nude all day but I used to wear a pretty long see through top with nothing else and it was just normal. I do remember my mum noticing when I decided to shave down there. I'm guessing in most families that'd be a pretty awkward conversation but it was so chilled out and cool. Love my family X

Nope, my sister gave me a big talk about nudity when I was like 7 and said she was going through puberty so we couldn't take baths together anymore( which of course made me cry since I was lonely)
I actually went around the house in a shirt and underwear until about 8-9 or so, then I just gradually started to completely cover up. My mom also gave me a big talk about modesty( she's pretty conservative) and said everyone always has to wear cloths, so I naturally became more protective of my body and never let anyone see too much, family or not.

I agree with Honeybear too. You shouldn't be uncomfortable being naked around your Family. They don't look at you to see if you are hot or not or to evaluate yor appearance. Your parents maybe the two persons, who it's most safe to be naked around.

since i reached puberty and my body started to develop ive been a little uncomfortable with people watching me naked. My mom and sister i dont really care but it bothers me a little if they catch me naked or changing, but no big deal. With my brother and father i would feel uncomfortable if they saw me naked, dont know, just weird imo. Not the end of the world but i wouldnt like it

My family is nude all the time at home. Now, I didn't have school for a week and a half now. I didn't leave the house at all and I have been nude since. Right now, I am sitting on our family room couch with my laptop. My dad is watching tv and yes he is nude. Nudity is the norm around here. Nudity have nothing to do with sex. We are all comfortable. We keep our house toasty and no need to cover up at all. We do the same thing as a clothed family. So all you clothed families do, we do the same things as you too, but without the clothes., that's all. :-)

I'm not comfortable with my dad seeing me and I always wrap a towel round me when i walk from the shower to my room.

Its quite right what honeybear says for most mum's and dad's and nudity certainly does not equal sex BUT...... some dad's are 'different' and it might me a hidden 'fetish' with them and that could lead to unwanted contact so I think its best if your modest and not put yourself in a position that could have really bad consequences. Just stay safe OK!!!

Just to include from my last post, my family does the same thing as a clothed family would do. After school, I got undress and mostly won't get dresses again until Monday for school. We had a family night last night and we'd played some board games and had dinner together. My grandfather is planning to come over to watch the football game with my dad and order some pizza. We don't see nudity as sexual. It is just being very comfortable, that's it. I still hug my dad and family and don't let that negativity be in the way. I guess is how and where one grows up. I think it is harder to live in a non-nude family. My brother got out the military and was stationed oversees. He said that people in other countries are so relaxed about nudity and most families are nude in their home. He dated a woman and he left early to pick her up. She answered the door nude and he walked in to see her whole family nude. He waited until she came downstairs, clothed. Later, she said that her neighbors walk around their neighbor nude. All I know is I am very happy to live in a house that clothes isn't keeping me a prisoner and to hold my feelings. I have a lot of friends that tell me that they want to walk around their house nude but afraid. Some people walk around nude when no one else is around. I say - you are a prisoner in your mind and home. A home is suppose to be your freedom location, mentally and physically. If one feels bound in anyway, that is not one's home! And with that, my family is so close. We are all best friends. Why is someone sneaking around in their home? If one is embarrass or a shame of something, don't do it at all. Don't wait when someone leaves to do it. This is fooling themselves. I am at peace with myself. When I wake up, I can go downstairs, and be anywhere on our property ,at any time. I can see if somebody is trying to nudity is ok, by themselves, and trying to prepare to be with everyone else in the house. But if one constantly doing this. This is a problem. Family is our support and the closest people that are around us. My mom told me about her friend. Her friend would walk around the gym's locker naked in front of strangers. She would walk all around the locker and shower naked. But when my mom asked her if she was nude at home, that woman told my mom that she is never naked at home. Her family never seen her and always made sure as soon as she gets out the tub, she is wrapped up and always have her doors locked. But this lady walks around the locker nude in front of people? Why not she walk around her family that she spends so much time trying to hide, everyday? This doesn't make sense to me. She is her own prisoner and she is confused. And, maybe, we Americans are so stuck up?

when i was growing up my family only had one bathroom and toilet in the house and if someone had to go when you were in the bath, they went. it isnt i get turned on, i am just not bothered because it is how we have been raised.
