Today I did an assignment in Religion class that involved analyzing relationships in my life (family and friends) and evaluate how I act towards them and how I care for them. I realized that I always am there for my friends and family and always try to help them and try to make their life easier, but I don't get the same back. My friends nearly don't share as much personal stuff as I do, they don't really give me advice or try to help me out. Same for my family. Basically I feel unappreciated and think that I should reevaulate all these relationships. Has anyone else felt this way before?

I also realised I have a disease called "having an extraordinary tendency to attracted stupid people into my life". You give people more than you receive, but don't worry, that's a good thing. It speaks very highly of you. If you think they're taking advantage of you in some way, then yes, you should reevaluate those relationships, and perhaps those people will realise that they were acting wrongly when you're not there to help them anymore.

As Tiago said. I sometimes feel same.
And, certainly it's an awesome thing. It shows how dependent and confident you are.
If they are taking advantage, certainly you are correct in reevaluating your relationship.
Otherwise, you are an awesome guy!
