Okay, my period is late by roughly a week and a half. I've felt cramp/pains in my back and stomach, and my stomach is also bloated as normal...
I haven't had sex since september (always protected) and i haven't had much sexual activity since then other than maybe two clothed incidents.
My period came as normal in october, i'm just wondering what the reason could be for it being late this month?
I've been on high doses of ibuprofen and paracetemol and also tramadol, with little to no exercise...
I can't remember missing a period before!!

It sounds like you have the signs of your period coming so I wouldn't worry about it yet. Give it a couple of weeks. If you skip it altogether, like maybe a month late you could go to your doctor about it. Are your periods usually regular?

How old are you firstly? Depending on your age, it is totally normal to have irregular periods. If you've had protected sex, and haven't had that much sexual contact any way, I think it's just an irregular period and not much to worry about. However, the painkillers can affect the cycle sometimes too, that's also normal. If your body isn't used to such high dosages it's just trying to adjust. If you're really worried though, a trip to the doctors is also a possibility.

Thanks for the help guys, i'm 16 and i've always had fairly regular periods, they've only varied over a week or so for the past 4 years. I'm assuming it's just a random one, i've been ill on and odf recently and stressed too, so i assume they can be factors? If my period doesn't show up next month as normal i'll go to my doctor :)

Yeah stress and illness do affect how the body runs, even I still get periods like that. See what happens next month, if there's no change then yeah go to the doctors.
