Urgent please help!!!

So my mum is flying out to Denmark tonight to visit my Gramps who is dying and I want to write him a letter. But I don't know how to phrase or what I evn want to say. I'm so confused and he keeps sort of losing his grip on reality and forgetting or getting really confused and i have no idea what to write in case he doesn't remember or it makes him get all confused about where or when he is. Please help me I don't know if writing him a letter is a good or bad idea?

I think writing a letter is a great idea. As for the content, I suggest that you write down whatever comes to mind and be completely honest. You can simply just say 'I don't know what to say' if you really don't. The best way to start is to just get everything out on paper where you can see it. You could revise it but I'm sure your Gramps will understand a letter like that and love that you wrote a letter like that.
