now I am bisexual, so I like boys just as much as girls. I can touch a boys penis and let him touch mine and stuff and would even consider doing oral with the right boy but, I can not bring myself to ever kiss a boy. I recently had an opportunity to kiss a boy I really liked and I completely turned him down cause the thought of kissing a boy is gross. I don't understand why I feel this way cause I have no problem kissing girls and I would do pretty much everything else with a boy I really liked.
does anyone else have this problem or have any theories as to why even though I like both pretty much equally, I literally cannot bring myself to kis a boy, even if we were boyfriends.

I think kissing is a really intimate and romantic thing...even moreso than all the other stuff. Maybe you are just not romantically attracted to guys but like guys in just a "lustful" way.

I would say maybe you're more curious than just gay? Honestly i think if you were bi then you would like boys as much as girls, which obviously isn't the case if you can't kiss them~ I think maybe you're open to things like touching their penis or oral or stuff like that, but not truly liking them as you would a girl. :)

Sexuality is complex and it is not weird or wrong to feel like this.

It's all about personal preference, nothing wrong with not wanting to kiss guys.
I have one possible theory... all the other stuff you described are things specific to being with guys, e.g. blowjobs, handjobs. Whereas as kissing would be an activity done with either gender. Maybe that's why your're uncomfortable with it.
Or maybe you might subconsciously think that it's too affectionate or not 'manly' enough to do with a guy.
You might grow to like it in the future but don't push yourself into doing anything you're uncomfortable with :)

If I were bi I might have the same problem. Since I'm strictly homo though I don't necessarily have the same problem, but I still find myself uninterested in kissing boys, I have to make myself do it. I don't know what it is really, but it certainly doesn't necessarily mean that you are straight. I could even be somewhat romantic with a boy but still not be much of a kisser. Did this help much? Probably didn't, but I think I know what you mean. I say be who you are at any rate and not worry about it, if a guy wants to kiss just be honest and say you're not much of a kisser when it comes to guys.

why even focus on labels? if you don't like kissing boys, then you don't have to. if you decide later on you do, that's fine too. don't call yourself straight, curious, bisexual, or gay. judging by the left side of this post, the best thing you can call yourself is "jake".

Agreed. but to the question at hand, people just have different views, some things very from person to person, also I tend to think of kissing as more of a romantic than sexual act, could it be that you're bisexual but hetroromantic?

Maybe a way to look at it is that your only sexually attracted to guys. Kissing is more of an emotiinal thing for some people and you might not be emotionally tied to a guy yet. But thats just a theory.

Okay, a common misconception is that all forms of relationships can be summed up by either "Homosexual" "Bisexual" or "Heterosexual". Well, besides the various other sexualities (Pansexual,Asexual, etc.) There are these things with the last prefix -romantic. Homoromantic, Heteroromantic, Biromantic. These encompass the emotional aspects (which, contrary to populat belief, sexualities do not.) Basically, it is possible for you to be a Bisexual (sexually interested in both males and females) Heterromantic (emotionally attracted to females exclusivly). Of course, this is unlikely. However, it is a possibuility. However, in my personal opinon, I think you may just be curious for guys and not bisexual. Which is perfectly okay of course, many guys do this stuff with friends. And the usual tell-tale sign for them not really being bisexual is that they don't want to kiss you. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to say your not a real bisexual because really only you know that. If it helps, me and my boyfriend of three years only ever kissed once during our entire relationship and that only happened as a heat of the moment thing, so it's not like there isn't love if there is no kissing. I hope this wasn't to confusing.
