If you want to be Bi, then be Bi. She cannot force you what to do. If you are really that scared, just keep it to yourself, dont let her know about it. But in reality, its your choice. You have the right to do what you want.

There is nothing wrong with being bi-sexual.

Being gay and bi has been in a big conflict with religion and i know a lot of friends that can't come out to their parents because of it. Honestly, what i told them, was that if you feel like you have to hide who you are because of a group of people that have certain beliefs, then all that brings is non acceptance for yourself~ I think the most important thing is you should be comfortable with who you are if you are bi. I'm gay and if i know someone who doesn't like it doesn't like me for it, then i just have to move on and make new friends. It's different with family though, even though i think religion may get in the way, your parents should love you no matter what. Especially no matter who you are! In my best advice i would suggest talking to a sibling you are comfortable telling this stuff with and see how they react, or even some friends first. You may even want to try asking her views on the matter with questions like, "Mom what would you say if one of us was gay?" (If you have any siblings.) If not then you can change it up to something else less direct~ I hope you find the courage to tell your mom and i hope things go well! :)

You can't change who you are as a person and if you're bi, you're bi. I know that religion is a massive issue with some people when it comes to sexuality, but you cannot help who you like. You can try denying yourself but it'll never work and in the end you'll be unhappy as a result of it. My parents are strict Catholics and I was so scared to tell them that I was gay. Then I realised, you know what, I need to do this for me. I can't change who I am so they'll have to accept it eventually, even if it took years they finally accept me. Religion is nothing when it comes to family, at the end of the day, family are going to love you. It may take years but they will be okay. You have to do what's best for you in these situations.

This. It is your choice and your life in the end, don't make it otherwise.

I'm not quite sure if it's about "wanting to be" or "being" BI.

Don't tell her about it.
My folks aren't religious and would probably accept it.
But I am not saying anything about it until I am out
of the house on my own. If even then. It's nobody's
business except my own.

not sure how old you are but are you positive about your sexuality? just thinking that you might possibly still be questioning at this stage of your life. in any case as others have said it's really your business, nobody else's unless you want it to be.

Just be yourself. Don't try to change for someone else's opinion.
