I've been registered for a while with VirtualTeen however I scarcely was online.
As a result, I consider myself new.

And, since we're new, why not get to know each other?

I figure that would be a useful bit of information for those who, like me, often forget to log into VT, lol.

Anyway, I'm Michael, I'm 16, I live in Perth (Western Australia) and I am a first year apprentice hair dresser.

Welcome, Michael! I'm Jessi. :) Into hairdressing, eh? I wanted to do that for a while, I still do, really. Ultimately I want to be a fiction writer, but I wanna go to beauty school and then work part time as a hairdresser while I get my English degree and while I break into the writing business. Unfortunately it's more complicated than it should be for me to do that, so I may have to just stick with English. Hmph.

Anywho, again, welcome! :)

Oh, I will be qualified by 19, so I figure that is young enough to branch into different paths anyway.

I want to study psychology for a while, and I want to travel.
Also, I am highly interested in travel...Hence the hairdressing.
As much as it is an interest, it's a job I can go places with.

I guess you could say I am just using it.
Regardless, I do greatly enjoy it.

Writing you say?
I do enjoy reading, however writing just doesn't fit my bill.
I can write poetry sufficiently but that is about it.

I don't think you should get int ohairdressing if it isn't something you aren't going to commit to.
If you have a greter interest, see to that :).
Sounds slightly hypocritical, does it not?
But that is (I stress to you) only because I am extraordinarily vague with my explanations.
