Hey guys,
My phone is the Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-5830i and yesterday I finally lost my rag with Android 2.6.3 (Stock with phone) and decided I would rather risk bricking my phone with a custom ROM that spend any more time in outdated city.
What I did was download a custom ROM of the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and a Kernel and a boot image. I flashed my phone and wiped the memory and simply installed a the new version of android through the recovery menu.
It woks great, twice as fast, no more lag! I was worried about putting new software on an old phone but it works great.
I was wondering if any of you have put custom ROM's on your phones to upgrade them? :D
