Giving a gift to someone I like

I kinda like this girl at my school. I don't know if she likes me but with Christmas coming, would it be weird if I like got her a gift, nothing expensive, just something to show her that I like her.

well, how well do you know her? are you friends, acquaintances, or total strangers?

because if your either friends or acquaintances, then it wouldn't be weird to me personally. but if you are strangers, i would first get to know her.

It wouldn't be weird no, but depending on the friendship level you can really only get away with a few things. Don't get anything too fancy, if you have something in mind you could always ask a friend if they think that that's okay to give to her. With it being Christmas, it doesn't look all that weird.
