Hey guys,
I would use to watch porn without the private browsing and just delete the history afterwards.
Now my friends showed me the incognito tab, is it reliable? Does it really wipe out all the history and browsing searches?
Thanks

The purpose of the incognito system to to safely browse without having anything tracking what you are doing and what you do in that tab/window will not appear in your history. :) You're perfectly safe to watch porn in incognito!

Yesss haha it works for me. Although, I really don't need it. My mom doesn't know the password for my computer, but still lol

It's as safe as it could be. It doesn't save data at all. Also, history isn't the only trace of where have you been, browsers usually store cache, and some sites use cookies. But you can only delete traces(or not save them at all, in incognito mode) on your computer, if there is tracking device on modem, or if all the trafic is redirected through another computer, the owner of the other computer can see on which sites have you been(example for this are ISPs, since they can see all the data, but also some home or business networks).

it is safe. to a degree though. just remember this:
Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
-Websites that collect or share information about you
-Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
-Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
-Surveillance by secret agents
-People standing behind you

Yes it leaves no trace (unless your a computer expert!). The only people who could find out what your looking at is your internet provider, but that's against the Data Protection Act of 1998 and Privacy Policy (in UK, but probably same in other parts of world) . Hope this helps!

It really is. Even tho I have not used it in a long time because I have my own computer, it DOES work. What it does is work as a proxy so servers don't record what sites you visit.

Well, using the incognito window won't keep any history ON THE COMPUTER, but on some (possibly all) wifi/internet systems what you look at can be tracked. However, it's likely that whoever is in charge of the internet in your home doesn't know how to do that.

Yea, it's fine to use. It doesn't actually wipe anything out, because it doesn't keep track of searches. Of course, there's still some tracks you can leave behind, but as long as the person looking doesn't know much about computers, you'll be fine. Don't worry about your ISP, either. Unless you're looking up illegal porno, your ISP won't care. There isn't even a reason for them to be tracking your searches though, so that concern is almost invalid.

I like it, and it works. It's much less suspicious than deleting all of your history, empty history just screams "SOMEONE USED THIS COMPUTER FOR PORN"

When you go incognito the pages you visit are not saved into the history. Although as luq_ and Castle of Glass have told you, there there are ways for the server administrator to find out.
