When I....well you know... It doesn't hurt I can barley feel it (which is kind of ironic since the whole point is to feel something, anything). I can feel the finger nails, the razor's edge and the teeth pressing down on my skin but no pain (I guess I am truly numb). In the end it just seems like a big waste (which it is).
So the question stands:
Is it still self-harm if you can't feel it ???:what:

it is self harm. i am the same way. you are just use to it, so yo don't feel the sting of the cut. and if your using a sharp object it will be less painful.

Certainly it is self harm.
Maybe your nervous system is not processing the force of these tool as a pain but surely, the shape of that part is undergoing some 'deformations'. Since you are doing it purposely, it's self-harm.

It is self harm. Anything that is used to deliberately cause harm to yourself in order to cope with what is going on or even to feel something, is considered self harm. So, even though you don't feel anything, since you are still deliberately causing yourself harm, it is self harm.
