So in a couple of days it's my and my bf one year anniversary. I really would like to give him something, but I'm really bad at buying and picking gifts.I would be so happy if you could give me any suggestions what to give him. Preferably something cheaper or hand-made because in like a month is his birthday so I want to buy him something expensive.
To help you, he is a photographer, he likes old things, and old music like from 1940, 1950 and 1960-s. Thats only importan things about him, and we have only one picture where we are togeder. (I'm uncertain about my look, so I don't like to be photographed)
That's it. Thank you..<3

You said he likes music from the 40's - 60's maybe you can find a record or album that he'll like.

sounds like a good idea :) if you don't have a lot of money to spend maybe you could find out what songs he likes and make him a CD.

Maybe something generic but nice, like a nice watch or some custom-made (as in custom ordered) clothing that resembles one of his interests?

What about Band apparel? Or is that just a Metal/Modern rock thing?
You could probably get a hoodie or something with his favorite artists? I love gifts like that

Take him maybe to the place where you had your first date, make it romantic and all that.

^This. Try and do things that he'll remember from your relationship. Make even get/make something that resembles the relationship. The greatest of gifts come from the heart.
