Does anyone else have PCOS? Statistically 10% of women of childbearing age are afflicted with PCOS.

I do. It is supposed to be really common, but not like a huge deal or anything.

Me too I'm on the pill but it's not working and the side effects are just making me feel worse.

I am taking 1500mg of Metformin daily for it. I don't see any improvement. I also take Linsinipril for high blood pressure. Metformin has a lot of unpleasant side effects...

I was on the pill and it made me feel worse too! It was horrible. I refuse to take it now even though it's supposed to help lower androgens. It made me feel terrible.

My mother doesn't want me to come off of it even though it's not working. I'm leaving it until the end of the year but if it doesn't start working I'm just not taking it. I wonder is there anything that helps?

See if you can just try out different kinds. A lot of women have problems with certain brands or set-ups, some can't take it at all. I personally haven't had anything bad except being very emotional at first.. Unless regular periods counts as a neg. side effect :P
