What just happened???

Not sure if this goes her, but o well.......

In science today, we were doing a project, and me and my bff were writing to each other about a guy I like, and how I need to get up the courage to talk to him. And the people we were working with took our letter thing and started reading it, and one asked me, Would you have sex with him? and I was like, i don't know, Im scared cuz I dont want my apple to pop. And they start bursting out laughing and said, its called your cherry stupid, and I was loke, ummmm, okay, my bad. Thats what I meant. So, they went and told a whole bunch of people, and Im just like, whatever about it.

But, a girl im friends with came up and was like: OMG! Did your really write a note to the guy you liked saying: I wanna F*** you?? And I was like, ummmm, no! Who told you that?? And she said a girl who was laughing about the apple thing and another girl.

OMG! What if my crush hears about this????? How do I stop the rumors????????? Help!!!???

You don't really stop the rumor. At least I don't know how. Also, it almost never stays the same, and usually is far from the truth(hyperbolic).
I'd go to him and tell him directly what I think/feel and how things really are, before the rumor gets to him with some completely false info.
But then again, I don't really have much experience in that kind of stuff...

That's tough. You can't stop the rumor, but worrying about it and letting it hurt you gives it power. Make a joke out of it; laugh at the misunderstanding. It'll feel better for you and, if it does get to your crush, it won't be as big a deal.

Either that, or go directly to him and tell him before he discovers it through the rumor mill. Better he hear it explained from you than from someone who has no idea what actually happened.

I don't know what kind of people make up a stupid rumor like that but once a rumor starts you really can't stop it from spreading. It will probably wear out in a couple of days, all rumors spreaded about me don't last long like 5 days.

Also find out exactly who spreaded the rumor, go to your school if you have, at my school their not that strict though.

It will most likely get to him, but really, its just a rumor, most people just joke through it. But in my mind, what if he kinda approaches you now? Mmmm
Anyway, like most people said, talk to him about it before! Really works :)

Tell as many people as possible that it is just a rumor!! If it is still spreading around tomorrow, go right up to your crush and tell him that there is stuff going around about you two but that none of it is true. There's not much you can do other than hold your head high and laugh it off.
