should there be a female version of UK judges wigs? some call for it because the current judge is not women friendly

I think.no because judges wear them because they're all the same in the eyes of the law.

sure change the wig if you like but man and women must have the same

They don't wear them because they're in the eyes on the law...

They wear them because they've worn them for the last 500 years, it's a stupid piece of dress which should be chucked out. It just makes courtrooms appeal even more pompous and out of touch. Scrap the stupid piece of horse hair and make our justice system modern and approachable not draconian and tudor

its a symbol, meaning they're all the same as far as the law is concerned and so different ones would be pointless

You simply get rid of them to get rid of the problem, many judges have said that they're dirty, uncomfortable and out dated. It does no practical good for the court. Wearing a wig in court is pointless-it adds nothing to the justice system
