i really like pink floyd but im not sure what catogory it falls into because i hear it on wmmr in my area and that is a classic rock station its just something that is puzzling me

Nobody kill me, but classic rock is one of the music genres I just can't enjoy. It's a genre with a lot of influential bands, but it's not for me.

all though i do like pink floyd i could not get into the movie it just scared me for some reason i think because everytime i watched it, it was about 5 in the morning and im running off of no sleep

Pink Floyd is a great mix for me between what would be rock and what would be sometimes ballads, but I do not listen that much to them. I'm more of a Scorpions, Aerosmith, and Led Zeppelin guy.

i love classic rock. One of my favorite genres. I grew up on it. thanks to my mom. so yea. Classic rock and a couple odd metal bands here and there.

I used to listen to "high hopes" when I'm sad (so quite regularly). It's kind of the soundtrack of a great summer I've had.
There are also Led Zep, the Doors and Deep Purple *W* these are classics.

I would definitely refer to Pink Floyd as a classic rock band. After all, they're rock, and they're classic!

I love classic rock. I mostly listen to Genesis, Black Sabbath, Scorpions, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Guns and Roses, Van Halen, etc..
