So guys and gals, I am in a sort of weird dilemma about my piano.
I have a piano that was made in the late 1800's that I absolutely love and the tone is still lovely but there is a problem, the piano is really worn due to age. The wood is still excellent but the ivory needs to be changed, the pedals are no longer working and some of the strings are very worn and about to go in about 2-5 years.
I really don't want to see it go but to repair it fully will cost around 1,500 euros at least. My family just want to get a new piano but this thing is nearly an antique and the tone is still incredible! If we get a new piano, I wont be allowed keep it :(
What do you think I should do?
