Adding pictures to posts

How can I add a picture to a post? I've tried clicking the little yellow button with the mountain but it asks for url and my image is on a file on my computer. How can I upload it?
If that's not possible where can I upload my picture to online so it will have a URL?

Yep, you've got it :) Photobucket also works, along with a few other sites. You upload, put it on private, and get the direct link.

Yup, seems like you got it worked out.

As said above, you can also upload your photo to a photohosting site (photobucket, imgur, tinypic, etc) and use the link in the box that popped up for you initially.
